At Collections we don’t have a huge selection for kids so what we do bring in for our little loves we’re really picky about. One of our favorite lines come from Denmark and it’s called Maileg.
The Danish company was established in 1999 by designer Dorte Mailil who’s philosophy is to produce well-made, adorable toys that will last and each collection has a unique authentic look and story. At Maileg they say that children thrive with simpler toys rather than plastic and that having fewer, better made toys will open their minds and help them find innovative ways to play. We couldn’t agree more!
Our collection of choice is the mice and we absolutely love them all. We have a variety of the mice in matchboxes with their own mattress, blanket, and pillow. We also brought in the princess mouse and the pea and the beach set with a tent and two lounge chairs for $63. Maileg is one of those things that once you start buying them you’ll keep adding to your collection because they’re so cute and happy!
